Lent is a season of preparation for Holy Week which is marked by Good Friday and Easter Sunday. This time of preparation can take many forms. Some people like to use the spiritual practice of fasting (i.e., giving up something) and others like to use it as a time to take on a spiritual practice (e.g., praying, reading the Bible, etc.). These practices are all designed to help us get closer to God and deepen our spiritual life.
You are invited on a Lenten journey of embracing the imperfections of LIFE and FAITH. Join us as we try to STOP STRUGGLING FOR PERFECTION, and begin SEEKING TRANSFORMATION.
This year our worship series, and reflection activities will be based on Kate Bowler’s work, “A Good Enough Lent”. Kate writes about how to live a full and meaningful life when we don’t get the life we want. As we move through this series, we’ll explore WE ARE ENOUGH and GOD IS ENOUGH.
