SAFE CHURCH

A safe and caring community for everyone

At Clarkson Road Presbyterian Church, we believe everyone should feel safe, respected and welcome in our church community.

As a congregation of The Presbyterian Church in Canada, we follow the denomination’s policies and procedures for creating safe church environments. These policies guide how we care for one another and how we respond when concerns arise.

Our commitment

Our church follows three key Presbyterian Church in Canada safety policies:

>> Leading with Care →

>> Policy and Procedures Addressing Harassment in the Church →

>> Policy for Dealing with Sexual Abuse and Sexual Harassment →

These policies apply to our ministers, elders, staff, volunteers and those involved in our programs and ministries. Leaders and volunteers receive training to help us maintain a safe and caring church environment.
